Sageware is an earrings and accessories company I founded in 2020. I was in high school at the time and was looking for an artistic outlet as well as a way to make money during the pandemic. It turned out to be a big success and I gradually added more earrings and accessories along the theme of fashion with function. My first product was a hairstick that could hold a variety of tools for everyday use such as a screwdriver or pen. It was inspired by gadgets from old spy movies as well as the lack of pockets in women’s clothing. The items that really took off were the custom book earrings that actually work like notebooks and can be written in. Sageware currently has over 3000 sales on Etsy and wholesale to 15 stores directly and through Faire.
